Multi-purpose, trapezoid shaped tables and tailor-made stools are used in this school lunchroom. The solid wood may get dirty easily with stains difficult to remove, the taste of wood still, at all events, remains as the perfect match for school. Besides, since the tables can be put together to form various shapes, which also made them a popular item. Users tend to pay more attention when they do the cleaning as they squeeze the water, soften the cloth, and wipe in a careful manner.

Solid wood furniture are heavy, and they have corners. And, KDL’s furniture are very different from conventional ones for kids, I can’t say we were stress-free when we made our choice. However, things were s different when we have the end product- the design was great and we all liked them, including the guardians of our kids. Surely we taught our kids to handle them carefully, but we are not doing anything special to care for them.

We ordered some tables and chairs for our lunchroom and classrooms. We know we stack both the tables and chairs, so we requested making the tables all stackable on one another to make them portable by only one person. It happened that the solid wood is heavier than we expected so we at least need two persons to move them around, if they were ladies. The chairs are also difficult for low grade kids, so they are trying their best. However, I found everyone understand that they need to handle the items more carefully when compared with other already-made products. Anyways, the items are solid, so damage and dent are sometimes unavoidable. I don’t think adults should be too conscious about that. When they get dirty, we repair them, we clean them. We are not being too careful when we use them as they are in our daily routine indeed.
